Margaret Rose Folden

Margaret Rose (nee Gover) Folden, 97, died, Mother's Day, May 11, 2014 in Clearwater, Florida.

Born in Somerset, KY, she had resided in Akron for many years and since 1987 in Florida. She was a member of Anona United Methodist Church, the Akron Witan and Ne-Hta Chapter of O.E.S.

Preceded in death by her husband, Denver; sisters, Evelyn Williams and Claudena Miller; she is survived by her sons, Gerald C. Folden of Raleigh, NC, Gene A. (Susan) Folden of Boca Raton, FL and Gary G. (Julie) Folden of Largo, FL; grandchildren, Heather Folden, Brian J. (Courtney) Folden and Clayton T. Folden; great-grandchildren, Denver, Corbin, Miller, Helena and Levi; nieces, Betsy Dorset, Joy Brown and Margaret Mason; nephew, Kerry Miller.

Devoted to her family, Margaret was a woman of genuine wisdom, strength, generosity, and caring. She was sunshine incarnate-even when her health began failing, she would still sport a smile. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. MONDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Becki Bowan-Verbridge officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home SUNDAY from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Rd., Largo, FL 33774.
