Carol M. Whittaker

Carol M. Whittaker, 89, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away January 5, 2024.

Born in Akron, OH on December 1, 1934, to Hubert and Helen Mostade (nee Stanick). She graduated from North High School, Akron, OH, in 1950 and attended business school at Kent State University. She spent most of her career as a bookkeeper and secretary in various industries around Akron.

She retired early to care for and help her Mom and Dad as they aged. She made a second career as a volunteer for Akron Childrens Hospital, sewing “Pinky puppets” and Linus Blankets, and working the Christmas Tree Festivals, and events with Childrens Hospital.

She enjoyed her free time reading, doing crafts, spending time with her friends, her flower garden, sunshine, and her back porch swing.

She is survived by her son, Kevin (Tracy) Whittaker and grandchildren, Kyle and Kelly Whittaker. As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours, funeral or memorial services.
