Ada Severina Mascioli

With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Ada Severina Mascioli, age 88, of Fairlawn, Ohio, who passed away peacefully on Monday February 17th, 2025 at Bath Creek Estates.

Ada was born on February 28, 1936, in Fossalto, Campobasso, Italy, to Paolo and Amalia (Persichetti) Carrelli. She grew up in a close-knit family, where she learned the values of kindness, faith, and devotion to her loved ones — principles she carried throughout her life.

Ada was the loving wife of the late Emilio Mascioli, with whom she built a beautiful family. As a skilled seamstress, she found joy in creating clothing for her grandchildren when they were young. Her greatest joy, however, came from cooking for her family, nurturing her loved ones, and sharing her warmth and generosity. A devoted mother and grandmother, she found her greatest happiness in caring for her loved ones. Ada's warm and generous spirit extended beyond her family. She had a kind heart, always offering a smile and kindness to those around her. She found joy in playing bingo, practicing her faith, and spreading love wherever she went.

Ada is reunited in eternal rest with her husband, Emilio Mascioli; her parents, Paolo and Amalia Carrelli; and her siblings, Agostino, Filomena, Agnese, and Luigi. She is survived by her son, Alessandro Mascioli (Kim); and beloved grandchildren, Amara and Ramia Mascioli. She also leaves behind her siblings, Giovanni and Maria Clara; along with extended family and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to honor Ada's life during calling hours, which will be held 4-7 P.M. MONDAY February 24, 2025 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, OH 44333. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. TUESDAY February 25th at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn, OH 44333. She will be laid to rest in Toronto, Canada.

Ada's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
