Aglaia H. Copetas, 93, passed away April 24, 2017.
Born in Turtle Creek, PA, she was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Akron, Ohio. She was the District Governor of Daughters of Penelope, Past President of American Women's Club of Northern Greece and Philoptochos Society of Akron and a member of Fairlawn Women's Club and Fairlawn Garden Club.
Preceded in death by her husband, George and sister, Fanny Katsilas; she is survived by daughter, Maria Copetas; granddaughter, Sophia; and sister, Anna Angelus.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. FRIDAY at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Jerry F. Hall and Rev. Fr. Dean Katsilas officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. THURSDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., where a Trisagion service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., Akron 44304.
