Alice J Watkins

Alice J. Watkins, 91, died Aug. 9, 2015.

Born in Akron, she was a graduate of Kenmore High School, attended the University of Akron, and loved reading, music, and bridge. She was charter member of Fairlawn Lutheran Church and a member of Akron Woman's City Club.

Preceded in death by husbands, Luther Wilt and John Watkins; she is survived by children, Dan (Joan) Wilt, Mark (Carol) Wilt, Janet Wilt and Amy Fodor (Craig Frank); grandchildren, Heather, Ethan, Angela, Amanda, Michael, Kathryn, and Jessica; 5 great grandchildren; and sisters, Pat Demshaw and Mary Alice Baxter.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Fairlawn Lutheran Church, 3415 W. Market St., with Rev. Charles D. Lentner officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour before services. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home, 2225 Veterans Rd., Morton, IL 61550.
