Alyce Ruth Tillson

Alyce Ruth Tillson (nee: Hastings), age 86, passed away on February 15, 2024. She was born on August 18, 1937, in Ravenna, OH to John and Alyce Hastings (nee: Warner). Alyce had a long career with Firestone Tire and Rubber spanning over years. In the 1960s she met her first husband, John C. West. She was very family oriented and loved caring for her great granddaughter, Novalee. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She loved to sew and was an excellent seamstress. Alyce will be missed for her loving and caring personality.

She is survived by her children, Paul West, Rebecca (Rick) May, Matthew West; Grandchildren, John Anthony (Alissa), Alexandria (Brian), Tabatha, Sara, Colton, Brandon, Braden, Mackenzie; Great Grandchildren, Novalee, Cameron, Brian, and Graham; Siblings, Bruce Hastings and Judy (Nelson) Boss.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Tillson; Siblings, Roger and Harry Hastings; Grandchild, Riley and her parents.

Family has invited friends to join in celebrating Alyce's life on FRIDAY, February 23, 2024, beginning at 12:00 P.M. for visitation. A service will be held at 1:00 P.M. with burial following at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
