Andrew Rinaldi

Andrew H. Rinaldi, 91, passed away September 4, 2013.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Andrew was a life long resident of the NY area where he worked as a machinist for the city of New York and raised a family. He was a WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Army in the ETO. In later years, he and Dorothy retired to the Tamarac, Florida area before moving to Copley to be near family.

Preceded in death by wife, Dorothy; survived by son Peter (Mary); daughters, Patricia Rinaldi(Kevin Sweeney), Joanne Rinaldi (former spouse Al Stenson), Maria Rinaldi (former spouse Louis Disanti); grandchildren, Kristin Stenson, Mark Stenson, Brian Disanti, Dana Disanti.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m., Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn with Fr. Steven Brunovsky officiating. Burial at Copley Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made directly to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Hilary Catholic Church in the name of Andrew H. Rinaldi. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
