Angelina Rose (Lichi) Bianco

May 12, 1919 — July 12, 2018

Angelina Rose (Lichi) Bianco ,

May 12, 1919 - July 12, 2018

Angie passed on Thursday, July 12 after 99 wonderful and fruitful years. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls to Anthony and Josephine (Vitale) Lichi and lived most of her life in "The Falls". She was a devoted and caring wife and companion to her husband, Dr. Nicholas C. Bianco, for 63 years until his passing in 2004, and the best mother anyone could hope for. She will forever be an example and inspiration to her children, Patricia and Michael, and to her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Angie was an accomplished golfer and bowler, party hostess extraordinaire, and a champion ruby life master bridge player, where her legendary photographic memory served her so well. She lived her life to the highest standards of intelligence, caring and integrity. Angie will be fondly missed by her many relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Anthony, Jacob, Sam and John, sister Josephine Schicolone and husband Nicholas, Angie is survived by sister Mary Ann Fullerton, brother Louis (Connie), sisters-in-law Rachel Lichi, Olga Lichi and Helen Capobianco, son Dr. Michael (Kelly) Bianco, daughter Patricia (David) Post, grandchildren Jessica (Tom) Haymaker, Eric Chalk, Nicholas (Hayley) Bianco, Thomas Bianco and Dr. Elisabeth Bianco, and great-granddaughter Sophia Bianco.

Special thanks are due to the wonderful staff of the Apostolic Christian Home, to Drs. Petrilla and Fracasso, and most particularly to Mr. Neil Gasser, whose kindness and personal attention were such a comfort to Angie during her final year and the flight of the dove.

Friends will be received at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 on TUESDAY, July 17, from 5-8 PM. Funeral Services will be held WEDNESDAY, July 18, at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Michael D. Ausperk officiating. Friends will also be received 1 hour before the service. Internment will follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flower, memorials may be contributed to A Way Out Recovery, Box 26811, Akron, OH 44319, attn: Nick Bianco, or to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Rd, Rittman, OH 44270.
