Anita Mae Sipley
Anita Mae Sipley, 81, went to be with the Lord, November 24, 2008.
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she graduated from Nyack Missionary College where she met her husband of 60 years, Reverend Richard M. Sipley. Mrs. Sipley served as a pastor's wife throughout their marriage in both the United States and Canada. For many years she taught Sunday school, ladies home bible studies, and was a teacher in the public schools.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, Richard L. Edie Sipley; granddaughter, Coine; daughter, Janice Sipley; brothers, Russell Margie and Walter Wanda Ragland; and sister, Deloris Wentworth Pike.
Services will be held 10 a.m. SATURDAY, November 29, 2008 at Riverside Alliance Church, with Dr. Gordon Meier officiating. Private burial at Tallmadge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Riverside Alliance Church, 2433 S. Main St., Akron 44319.
