Ann C. Heslop, 91, born July 15, 1925 passed away January 29, 2017.
She graduated from Stevens College and married Don Heslop on January 19, 1946.
She was a member of the Junior League of Akron, past president of the Women's Board of Akron Children's Hospital, helped organize and served as first President of the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild, and a member of the Diggers and Weeders Garden Club. Ann was a 4th generation member of the First Congregational Church of Akron.
Survived by her husband of 71 years, Don Heslop; brother, John C. (Rheba) Haley of Mendon, Vermont; sons, Bruce (Julie) and Tim (Cheryl) Heslop; granddaughters; Cindy (Travis) Kooy, Mandy (Joel) Douglas and Katie (Mike) Hearn; great grandchildren, Ian Kooy, Amelia and Caroline Douglas, Andrew and Reagan Hearn.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. MONDAY, February 6th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Nanette Pitt officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Akron Children's Hospital, One Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308.
