Ann M. Mckinney
February 17, 1919 — December 26, 2013
Ann McKinney, 94, passed away peacefully on December 26, three days after suffering a stroke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luke and son, Jay. She is survived by daughters, Terry (Gary) Mercer, Linda (Ernie) Biermann; grandchildren, Laura, Lisa (Andy), Kristin, Eric (Michele); and great grandchildren, Luther, Rozalynd, and Mia. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful folks at Midway Manor, New Horizons Adult Day Program, Mom's wonderful neighbors, the Evans family, and Michael from Hospice of Summa.
There are many people who have, over the last few years, helped so Mom could stay in her home for so long. We can never express our gratitude. Sometimes it takes a village raise a mother. We also want to thank the Suffield township paramedics and the Portage County Sheriff's 911
operators, especially the late shift for their unparallel compassion and sense of humor. Thank you!
Per Mom's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Please just take a few minutes to tell
