Ann Louise Tachantz

Ann Louise Tschantz, 89, passed away on October 5, 2010.
Ann received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Akron and her Master's degree at Syracuse University. She was a high school guidance counselor at Cuyahoga Falls High School prior to her retirement to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1980.
Preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane Tom Watters; she is survived by niece, Sally Bob Winer; nephew, Thomas Watters, Jr.; great niece, Melanie Matt Mathis; great nephew, Robert J. Winer; and great-great nephews, Jason and Henry Mathis.
Ann's family wishes to thank everyone at The Village at St. Edward and the VNS Hospice for the wonderful, loving care Ann received.
Cremation has taken place. At Ann's request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held for the family. Ann loved all dogs and she would be truly delighted for any memorials to be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
