Anna “Marie” Losson McMillin , 92, of Bath Twp. passed away on January 5, 2023. Anna was born in New Albany, Indiana on May 7, 1930 to the late Charles Peter and Anna Losson. She joins her husband of 25 years Richard Charles McMillin.
Anna was a 1948 graduate of New Albany High School and a 1952 graduate of Purdue University. She married the love of her life, Richard C. McMillin in 1952. She enjoyed travelling, history, crafting, flowers, nature, her family and friends, her pets, her neighbors, and her community. Anna was an avid antique lover and collector.
She was actively involved in and held leadership roles in many clubs and memberships, like Bath Gamma Garden Club for 33 years, Bath Historical Society for 30 years, Girl Scouts Western Reserve for over 10 years, Consumer Report Shopper for 43 years, Bath Grange Bowling League, Bath Town Hall Board of Trustees and Management Board.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, son in law John Amole and stepson John Amole Jr.
Anna leaves behind her loving children Gail (Dave) Newman, Janna Amole, Carolyn McMillin, Mark (Naomi) McMillin and Diane (Jim) Gillespie; grandchildren Ken (Dr. Amy Beaston) McMillin, Doug (Elizabeth) McMillin, Ricky Lee McMillin, Adam Gillespie, Katie (Mark) James, Emily Gillespie and Dr. Scott Salomone; great grandchildren Scarlett, Atticus and Jameson McMillin and Everet James. She also leaves behind many wonderful friends.
The family wishes to thank and acknowledge the caregivers and loving care she received at Bath Manor.
Memorial Mass will be at 11 AM on Friday January 27, 2023 at St. Victor Catholic Church 3435 Everett Rd. Richfield, Ohio 44286 with Rev. Fr. Allen Corrigan officiating. Family and friends may visit from 10-11 AM on Friday prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will take place at Moore’s Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Summit Co. Humane Society.
In remembrance of Anna, she asked that one and all enjoy every day you are given. Be grateful everyday for the blessings you receive and to love your friends and family with all your heart and give them no less than four hugs a day.
