Anne M. Sayre

Anne M. Sayre (Nee Choma) passed away at Bath Manor Special Care Center October 22, 2018.
Born June 10, 1918, she graduated from Washington High School in 1937, and also completed a course at Andrews Business College in Cambridge, Ohio. She later moved to Akron, Ohio and accepted a position as a sales clerk at Anne's Dress Shop in the Ohio Building. In 1959, she became the owner, and several years later, moved the business to west Akron. Anne closed the business in 1994 due to her husband's illness.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; and is survived by brother, John (Jeanne); as well as many nieces, nephews, and many, many good friends.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. where the service Trisagion Service will take place at 3 p.m., and from 10 to 11 a.m. MONDAY at the funeral home when the Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m., Rev. Fr. John Alassaf officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. George's Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3204 Ridgewood Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333. Anne was a very loyal and sincere member of the church. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
