Annette (Anne) Taylor Baker
Annette (Anne) Taylor Baker passed away on May 9, 2012 at the age of 87 after a long illness.
A life resident of Akron, Anne was a member of First Grace Church for over 40 years, during which time she sang in the Chancel Choir. She was a member of The Chapel and was instrumental in the formation of the Grieve Not Alone support group.
She was a graduate of the University of Akron with a master's degree in Business Education. Anne returned to her alma mater, Garfield High School, where she taught Intensive Office Education for almost twenty years.
Preceded in death by her husband of thirty-nine years, Robert E. Baker; parents, Charles and Helen Taylor; and brother, Victor Taylor; she is survived by sons, David Lee Baker of Kent; Donald (Susan) Baker of Boca Raton, Florida; daughter, Lynne Wisard of Hartville; and grandchildren, Stacey Gray, Timothy and Jeffrey Wisard; and Elise and Rob Baker.
Funeral services celebrating Anne's life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., where friends may call 1 hour before. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
