On July 8th, Mother Earth lost her favorite gardener in Becky Parasson-Hershberger . Whether it be planting, trimming or watering, she was always to be found in her garden helping the things she loved grow. Nothing delighted her more than seeing her friends, particularly her Owosso neighbors, and family, especially if it meant sitting and talking for hours on end. She prized her high school circle of friends, meeting them once a month, and stayed active in her church and quilting group up until the end.

Daughter of Sylvia and George Parasson, and sister to Lefty, Tony, Mary and Freida, Becky married Elmer Hershberger and raised three kids - Mitchell and wife, Mary, Nadine and husband, Arvin, and Lynn and husband, Larry. She spent much of her life helping her brother manage Parasson’s restaurant on Main Street. But as much as she loved it, it was nothing compared to how much she adored her seven grandchildren. And even that was dwarfed by how much she loved her great grandchildren. But her love didn’t stop there for she had just as much reserved for her many nieces and nephews, each of whom she considered a blessing as well.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, July 11th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd,. Fairlawn, OH 44333. Friends may call from 11:00AM - 1:00PM.
