Benjamin Joseph Wade

Benjamin Joseph Wade , aka “Benny Bob”, “Benny and the Jets”, or “Bud”, 31, passed away on August 17th, 2024. Born in Akron on December 4th, 1992, Ben attended Cuyahoga Falls High School, graduating in 2011. He was employed by The City of Cuyahoga Falls, in the water department. Ben was an avid golfer, pool player, and LOVED spending his time watching the Cleveland Browns, Buckeyes, and The Cavs.
Ben was a proud member of Elk Lodge #1923. Ben never met a stranger and lit up the room with his beautiful smile.

Ben is survived by his loving parents, John and Michelle; sister Brittany (Ryan) Gibson, and nephew Nolan Gibson; Grandparents Penny ‘Nana’ (Mike) Fields, Donna Wade (Dave) Garthoff, and Charles (Linda) Spurlock; Aunts and Uncles Ben and Krista Gregory, Jeff Wade, Clay and Julie Wade, and Charlie and Kathi Wade; Cousins Kylie, Kendal, and Claire Gregory, Sarah (Toby) White, Daniel (Amanda) Wade, Elizabeth (Joe) Terry, Amanda Wade; as well as many other great aunts and uncles, family members, and lifelong friends. Ben loved his puppy Scarlett wholeheartedly, and she loved him. Ben is preceded in death and reunited with his Great Grandpa and Great-Granny Charles & Doris Pinkos, Grandpa William (Mike) Wade, and Grandpa Dave Garthoff.

Ben’s close friend Chance said it best, “Ben was the best person I knew, he would do anything for anyone in need.”

Family and Friends may call FRIDAY, August 23, 2024, from 6-8pm and services will be held SATURDAY August 24th at 12:00pm at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd Street Cuyahoga Falls, 44223. Procession immediately following services to Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. There will be a celebration of life following burial at The Elks Lodge #1923, 2555 State Road Cuyahoga Falls 44223.
