Beverly Joan Thurman, 85, died April 6, 2016.
Born in Hayfield, Minnesota, she was a retired legal secretary and a member of Grandview United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by husband. William C. Thurman, Jr.; she is survived by children, Elizabeth Anne (Denny) Rachubka, Bernetta Dawn (John) Maul, Mary Clarice (Mark) Melton, and William C. (Meagan)Thurman, III; grandchildren, Nicolas and Chelsea Melton, and Vaughn, Peyton and Bane Thurman; and sister, Alice Pesch.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Paula Koch officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 1 Akron General Ave., Akron, OH 44307-2463. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
