Bonnie J Breed

Bonnie Jean Breed, 88, passed away March 31, 2016. She was born April 5, 1927 in Akron to Fred and Mary Schultz and lived in the area for most of her life.

Bonnie graduated from Buchtel High School in Akron. She married Don Breed on September 22, 1946. Bonnie worked for the mayor of Stow and managed several apartments in the Akron area. Later in life she worked at Dillard's in the Estee Lauder Department. In her early years Bonnie sang in the church choir. She was an avid reader and loved drawing, watercolors, traveling, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years; parents; sisters, Edith, Kitty and Esta and brother Don; she is survived by her daughter, Karen (Charlie) Watterson; son, Don (Debbie) Breed Jr.; Grandchildren, Jennifer Breed, Ashley (Bryan) Hall, Michael Breed, Alyson Robinson, Jim Watterson, Rob (Elaine) Watterson, and Ron (Becky) Watterson; great-grandsons, Justin Robinson and Mason Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was very fortunate to have had the last 5 years of her life spent at the Bradford House at Brethren Care Village. Her family wants to thank the staff for their kindness and wonderful care that was given to her.

Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. with Rev. David Loar officiating. Friends may call Monday one hour prior to the services. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bradford House at Brethren Care Village, 2000 Center St., Ashland, OH 44805. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
