Carl Henry Antczak, 83, passed away December 11, 2010.
Carl was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 9, 1927. He served in the U.S. Navy during and following World War II and was Manager of Special Services with Hussmann Refrigeration in Brecksville, Ohio where he retired in 1992 with 25 years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Victor's Catholic Church in Richfield. His love of beauty was reflected in his stained glass lamp and window creations, carpentry and through his faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Frances Paluchniak Antczak and brother, Michael Antczak. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Grace Loeding Antczak; children, Virginia Vic Blount, James Ava Antczak, Tracy Sue Antczak, Roy Shelia Antczak and Daniel Antczak; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jessica Motz, Brian and George Antczak, Justin Antczak, Jordan and Ryan Antczak; sisters, Alice Don Stichmann, Joan Grassell; and brother, George Elaine Antczak.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. SATURDAY, December 18, 2010 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. with Rev. Father Allen Corrigan officiating. Private inurnment with military rites at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until service time on SATURDAY.
