Carl E. Hartman, 88, died March 23, 2016 in Fort Myers, FL.
He was born November 6, 1927 in Wadsworth, Ohio to George and Esther Weaver Hartman. A long-time resident of Bath, he moved to Lehigh Acres, FL in 2012. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, member of the Bath Church U.C.C., had been a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and had retired from Clarkins as a store planner.
He is survived by his wife, Alta Marcene Hartman; sons, David (Shirley) and Dan (Colleen) Hartman; daughter, Rebecca Hartman; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
A service celebrating his life will take place 11 a.m. FRIDAY, April 8th, in the Historic Chapel of The Bath Church U.C.C., 3980 W. Bath Rd., with Rev. Mark Frey officiating. Private inurnment at Ira Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 2301 Romig Rd., Akron, Ohio 44320. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
