Carl S. Springer, 95, passed away peacefully July 28, 2012.

Born in Lowell, Ohio, he lived most of his life in the Akron area and was the founder of Valley View Golf Club.

Preceded in death by his wife, Joanne; survived by sons, David (Jean), Gary (Sondra); grandson, Justin (Terri); granddaughter, Dr. Tracie Springer; great-grandson, Ethan.

Service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd. St., Cuyahoga Falls. Burial at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
