Carol Marie Ash

Carol Marie Ash died September 25, 2022, of natural causes at her home in Akron, Ohio.
Born April 23, 1934 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Earl and Marie Busenberg and lived not only in Akron, but also Texas and Michigan. She graduated from Miami University (OH) and taught art for several years in the Akron Public School system.

She was a member of Fairlawn Country Club, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center Women’s Auxiliary, Delta Gamma Sorority, Bath Church, and a long-time volunteer at Good Neighbors Food Bank.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur A. Ash in 1985, she is survived by daughter, Constance Osters, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Victoria Ash; grandchildren, Andrea (Halie) Osters, Christopher (Christora) Osters, Emily Ash, Alexis Ash and Kyle Ash; and great-granddaughter, Kate Osters; plus several nieces and nephews and a host of caring friends.
Carol wished to send her special thanks to the friends at Crooked Lake who made her summertime home a pleasure, and to all her dear tennis and golf buddies who enriched her life.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Akron, 44333. Formal services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made on her behalf to the Akron Food Bank.
