Carol S. Durbin

Carol Sue Durbin (Palmer), 61, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. 

She was born on May 6, 1963, in Akron to the late Ronald Palmer and Cecilia “Betty” Bunker. She grew up in Cuyahoga Falls with her brothers Tom, John, and Dave, and later moved to California, Florida, and back home to be with her family. She enjoyed her years living in Florida where she loved the sunshine, going to the beach, and riding her bike. Carol was a gymnast, avid Yankee candle collector, and Cleveland and Ohio State sports fan. She deeply loved her kids, grandkids, and dog Buddy. 

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; brother Tom; and grandson Greyson James Bak. She is survived by brothers John Palmer of Reno, NV, Dave (Karen) Palmer of Stow; daughter Danielle (Josh) Bak of Stow; son JT (Margo) Durbin of Munroe Falls; and grandchildren Riley & Myla Bak and Stella, Dominic, & Genevieve Durbin. 

Memorial visitation will be held from 1-3 PM on Tuesday April 15, 2025 at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223. Inurnment will immediately follow at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
