Carol A. "Honey" Messner, age 75, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, September 19, 2015.
Born March 25, 1940 in Akron, she was the daughter of Harold and Ola (Jones) Davis.
Carol was a loving home maker who enjoyed her family, reading, taking care of animals, and her wild-life "friends".
Survivors include her loving children: Glenn (Debbie), Lee (Debbie), Ginger (Mike) Kuhn, Tracy (Scott) Craigo, Adam (Mary Beth), and Aaron (Abby); 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a brother Roy (Judi) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Skip" Messner in 2005, a sister Lanessa, and a brother Harry.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private gathering for the family will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a local Humane Society.
