Carolyn Eckart was 85 at the time of her passing. She leaves behind her 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Carolyn loved to work puzzles, read the Bible, watch movies (Hallmark), visit with friends, and play cards. She enjoyed watching wildlife from her back window and hummingbirds in the front. For many years, she lived in Florida in the winter and enjoyed walking on the beach and collecting shells with Richard. She was committed to attending her church in Florida (Venice Bible Church) and the Chapel in Akron.
Carolyn loved having cats. Her last cat, Zorro, was super special. He had a big personality and became mom’s special pet when Richard passed.
She was homebound for the last 3 years due to complications of Parkinson's and dementia. However, God provided wonderful helpers to enable her to stay in her home until a few months before her death.
She loved the 23rd Psalm and found comfort in the Lord as her Shepherd.
Carolyn loved to share financially with people in need. She was a generous supporter of many Christian charities.
