Carolyn Meredith, 91, went to be with the Lord March 18, 2010.
Born in Branchland, W. Virginia, the youngest of 11 children, she lived her life in Akron and was a resident of the Village at St. Edward. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple and O.E.S. Chapter #500.
Preceded in death by husband, James O. Meredith; son, Ted; and son-in-law, Cliff Browning; she is survived by daughters, Phyllis Meredith and Linda Browning; son-in-law, Al Kodish; grandchildren, Dan Darleen Beaver, Debbie Jeff Frederick, Dave Kodish, and Lisa Mark Savoia; and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.
