Charles J. Boltz, 88, passed away April 30, 2009 in Bradenton, Florida.
Charles loved woodworking, farming and building houses, which included three. He was also a veteran of World War II and retired from B.F. Goodrich after 38 years of service.
Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth; parents, Harley and Nona Boltz; son, Douglas Winter and grandson, Steven Winter. He will be greatly missed by sons, Richard Ruby Winter, Don Barbara Winter; brother, Clyde June Boltz; sisters, Ruth Barker and Ruby Kover. He also leaves behind special friend, Phyllis La Plante and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. TUESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with the Rev. Raymond Deuring officiating. Interment to follow at Bath Cemetery with military rites by VFW Post 7971 and American Legion Post 473. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. the day of the service.
