Born in Salem, Ohio, he lived in Bath since 1955. A graduate of the Culinary School at Cornell, he was the owner of Lionwood Antiques and was the General Manager of Bath Country Market.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Copley Place, 528 Rothrock Rd., Copley 44321. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Food Pantry, 647 E. Market St., Akron 44304 or Autism Society of Ohio, Greater Akron Office, P.O. Box 2831, Akron 44309.
