Charles Paul Stager

Charles Paul Stager, age 71, passed away at home, on January 18, 2019. Beloved husband of 31 years to Marion (nee Probst); loving father to sons, David (Bobbie) of Southern Shores, North Carolina, Paul (Laura) of Bath Township, Ohio, and the late Eric Stager; cherished grandfather of Alec, Avery, and Hank; dear brother to Faith Bunn (Ned), Patricia Roe (Rob) and the late Michael Stager; devoted son of Henry and Arlene Stager, both deceased.
Charlie served his country in the US Army, receiving the Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with two battle stars. He worked for McCourt Construction Co., and later Shelly and Sands, Inc., retiring after 40 years.
Family and friends may call from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd, Akron 44333. A Memorial Service will follow at 1 p.m. Inurnment will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2019 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville 44273. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or your favorite charity.
