Charles R Thompson

Charles R. Thompson Charles R. Thompson, 94, died September 13, 2011. Born September 11, 1917 in Muncie, Ind. to Clyde and Mabel Thompson, he lived most of his life in Akron. Charles was a 1934 graduate of Buchtel High School and he attended The Ohio State University. A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was a retired self employed contractor. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pauline; daughters, Nancy Thompson Tom Upton and Laurie Thompson; sister, Jean Coy; his grandchildren, Samuel and Charles Austin Kasserman; nieces, nephews. A graveside service will take place 10:30 a.m. SATURDAY at Rose Hill Burial Park. There are no calling hours. Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel
