Cheryl A. Taylor

January 5, 1960 — October 5, 2021

On October 5, 2021, Cheryl A. Taylor passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61 but is now in the loving embrace of our Father in Heaven.

Cheryl was the mother of two sons, 4 grandchildren and many others that considered her a “second mother”. Cheryl’s greatest love was her family and always fiercely protected them. Despite her impeccable work ethic, her family always came first. She had an amazing sense of humor, candor, loved decorating, spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. She had the greenest thumb! Cheryl was also a devoted wife to Keith whom she loved with all her heart: enjoying every moment by his side. She was a selfless person who wanted to make sure everyone she loved was taken care of and felt appreciated. This not only extended to her immediate family members but to many other coworkers, customers and associates that she grew to love and enjoy.

Cheryl was born and grew up in Akron, Ohio graduating from Garfield High School where she was a majorette. After graduating, she met her husband Keith Taylor who was to become the love of her life and her soul mate. Together, they raised two precious sons. Cheryl and Keith both worked tirelessly to provide a wonderful life for their family.

Cheryl was proceeded in death by her mother Kathleen “Kass” Gaus (nee Sax), her father Carl Sax, her wonderful stepfather John “Jack” Gaus, sister Joan Reynolds, mother-in-law Margie Taylor and brother-in-laws: Danny Ray Taylor & Kenneth Baillie.

She leaves behind her husband of many happy years, Keith Taylor; sons: Scott Taylor (Jessica), Chad Taylor (Emily); grandchildren: Cassia Taylor, Dakota Taylor, Seth Triplett & Silas Triplett. She also leaves behind siblings Terry Rodocker (Toni), Patricia Headley (Bill) & Dawn Fausnight; father-in-law, Danny Taylor, in laws: Kim Baille , Jan Taylor, Greg Taylor (Patricia) & Deann Fortman (Dean) along with many nieces and nephews.
