Chester "Chet" Krzykoski, 88, passed away peacefully October 7, 2008.

He was born in and was a lifetime resident of Akron. He retired from B.F. Goodrich in 1982 after 47 years of service. Chet served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He belonged to St. Hedwig's Church and was a longtime member and past trustee of the Polish American Club.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary and brother, Henry, he is survived by sister, Helen Nivins of Medina; brother-in-law, Nick Wasylko of Akron; nephew, Steven Lynne Krzykoski; nieces, Johna Jerry Large, Julie Ray Kelly, Lynn Gorman, Lisa Michael Toth; great-nieces and great-nephews, John, Katie, Beth, Michael, Erin, Laurie, Kristy, Jessica, Jennifer, Andrew, and Zach.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
