Chris Robin Stanley (Klagge)

Born on April 26th, 1956 and died peacefully in her home on December 22nd, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.

She is survived by her Mother, Alice Klagge; husband, Dale Stanley; Children, Justin Hospodarsky, Alicia Stanley and Aaron Stanley; Siblings, Jim Klagge, Dave Klagge and Jill O'Banion, and many other beloved family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Klagge, and daughter, Jessica Hospodarsky.

She attended Brecksville Highschool, and wore many hats in her life, including working at The Tavern of Richfield, The Coliseum, American High Reach, Giant Eagle, and managing the Richfield UCC Retirement Village. She was a lifelong mother and homemaker, and worked tirelessly through her jobs and responsibilities to show love and care for every member of her family.

Chris was a woman of many talents. She was a wonderful cook, effortlessly preparing meals of any size for any occasion, be it family dinner every night or feasts on every special occasion. She had a creative spirit, always doodling or scheming new projects in her craft room. From her little clay men, to beautiful patchwork dresses, her creations now live all over the United States. Chris found beauty in everything, but especially in thrift stores. You'll never meet somebody more skilled at finding exactly what is needed at a secondhand store.

Her love, positivity, kindness, imagination, and resourcefulness were an endless source of joy for those around her and will be so dearly missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Richfield United Church of Christ, 4340 W Streetsboro Rd, Richfield, OH 44286, on SATURDAY, February 1st at 1pm. A private burial service will take place in the spring.
