Born in Charleston, WV, she was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Akron. Clara had worked at O'Neil's for 25 years.
Preceded in death by her Husband, Russell and brother-in-law, Thomas Strayer; she is survived by her sister, Ruth Strayer; sister-in-law, Roberta Sausaman; nephews, David and Don Phillips.
Services will be held 11 a.m. THURSDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. T. Edward Holland officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home WEDNESDAY from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Akron, 1670 Shatto Ave., Akron, Ohio 44313. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
