Clifford S. Cottrill
Clifford S. Cottrill, 25, passed away Nov. 29, 2008.
Cliff was most recently employed part time at Daktronics. He had an avid interest in stage lighting and produced several special effect light shows for local venues and private parties. His interest in lights and their effects extended into the field of pyrotechnics, a 4th of July with him was always fun.
Cliff was actively pursuing his education in Electronic Engineering at the University of Akron. He was recognized for consistently making the Dean's list, and his student status recently provided an opportunity to work on a project with local NASA scientists.
As a young adult, Cliff worked for a summer at Cedar Point, befriending some Russian exchange students. This led to a passion to visit the country. He studied the language on his own, saved his money, and had the experience of his lifetime in Russia!
Cliff was truly a unique human being. He will always be remembered for his creativity, his quick wit, his determination, his brilliant mind, and especially for his sensitive, loving heart.
