Clint W Snyder

Clint W. Snyder, age 52, born July 6, 1964 in Youngstown, OH, passed away of natural causes Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home in Midland, MI. Burial will take place at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, OH.

Dr. Snyder is preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Albert Snyder. He is survived by his sister, Bernadette Cochrane (Mark); his brother, Eric Snyder (Jennifer); nieces and nephews, Grace Lintz, Aubrey Snyder, Lauren Snyder, Mark Allen Cochrane, Jacob Snyder; great-niece and great-nephews, Cheyenne Lintz, Aiden Lintz, Evan Snyder, Mark Allen Cochrane Jr. and dear friend, Marian Feraru, as well as many, many close friends and colleagues.

In a lifetime of dedication to education, Dr. Snyder held numerous positions at University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Northeast Ohio Medical University, University of Tennessee Health Science Center and most recently, the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine.

Far beyond his educational prowess, Clint was kind, funny, and loyal. He loved his family, friends, and students, always working with their interests at heart. His big smile and outgoing personality would instantly light up a room. He brought out the best in everyone he knew. He will be fondly remembered by everyone he came in contact with. At work as in his personal life, he was well known for giving of himself and supporting those in need.

Clint very often made us laugh until we cried, so now we can take an opportunity to cry until we laugh as we celebrate his life at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 on August 13, 2016 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. In memory of Dr. Snyder, a scholarship fund has been established at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
