Constance M. Schmeltzer, 81, died March 31, 2012 in Bradenton, Florida.
Born in Akron, she was a life resident, wintering the last 14 years in Florida. She was a member of Fairlawn Lutheran Church, the Red Hat Society, Akron Woman's City Club, Order of the Eastern Star and the Hungarian American Club.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mabel Menard; Constance is survived by her loving husband, Julius; sons, Ernest (Niki) Schmeltzer and Steve Schmeltzer; daughter, Kathleen Teague; grandchildren, Kara (Mike) Scott, Jenny (Travis) Kemper, Michael, Craig, Marc and Stevie Schmeltzer, James (Rachel), Cody and David Teague; five great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Earnest Schmeltzer (Jan).
Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., 3 to 6 p.m. TUESDAY. Services will be held 11 a.m. WEDNESDAY, April 18, 2012 at Fairlawn Lutheran Church with Rev. Charles Lentner officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Fairlawn Lutheran Church, 3415 W. Market St., Akron 44333.
