Cristine Shead

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Cristine born June 12, 2008. Cristine Elizabeth Shead, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 13, 2020, along side her sister, Marlana Mullin (22).

Cristine was a little spitfire from the time she could throw toys.  She also held the strings to her Daddy’s heart, and boy oh boy did she know it.  The girl loved to talk! She played basketball and after the game, traveling back home, all the girls would be sleeping.  Cristine, well she would be the one chatting up a storm with the parent/parents during the long drive back home.  Cristine especially loved summer.  It was the beginning of the camping season.  A summer filled with fun, friends and family.  She especially loved to irritate her twin brothers, Austin and Garrett. Garrett mostly.  If you were to drive the children anywhere, the placement would be Cristine next to Austin and Garrett way across the car.  Her older sister, Amanda, brought out the girlie girl in her, doing their hair and painting their nails together.  It is no surprise that Cristine flew to Heaven with her older sister, Marlana.  They were the adventurous duo, loving the coasters at Cedar Point.  Charlie (Bubba) was her oldest brother.  He was the shy and quiet one, although Cristine doesn’t know anything about those two words.  She enjoyed swimming, music and dancing, especially with Daddy and the Uncles, riding bikes or sitting by the campfire and listening to stories. Cristine had a good heart.  She was always inquiring about how others were doing.  She was beautiful and smart (honor roll worthy).  The social butterfly probably only liked school to hang out with her friends.  Cristine had so much life ahead, so much to look forward to, a life filled with adventure, promises and opportunities.  In our hearts, it was too soon for her to have the wind beneath her wings.

Cristine was called home by our Heavenly Father.  She has received the ultimate gift this Christmas. She can hold her Daddy’s hand, as she meets the family who passed before her.  Remember her joyful spirit, to reaffirm our beliefs, and to release Cristine’s spirit as we seek solace within our hearts.  We all love you, Cristine.

Preceded in death by her father, Douglas Shead; her sister, Marlana Mullin; and cousins, Daniel Kohanyi and Alexandria Mullin.  Cristine is deeply missed and survived by her mother Julianne Shead; siblings, Austin and Garrett Shead, Amanda and Charlie (Bubba) Guinn.

Cherished by grandparents Jerome and Terry Mullin; aunts and uncles, Angela Mullin (Tom Rollins), Uncle Vincent Mullin, Julie and Dean Kohanyi,  Patti and Tom Walker, and Dave and Lila Shead; cousins, Mathieu Glass, Hailey Mullin, Kayla Rollins, Brian Kohanyi, Amber Parker (Ryan), Heather Walker, Gregory Walker, Hayley Walker (Joe Adams), Nick Shead, Kelli Shead (Chris Finkbeiner) and their children, Kendall, Colt, Avery and Peyton.

Friends may call Wednesday December 30th from 11AM to 1PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N Miller Road Fairlawn, OH 44333. Funeral service following at 1PM. Private interment.
