Cynthia Ruth Jackson (nee Catalano)

Cynthia “Cindy” Ruth Jackson (nee Catalano) passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, February 23rd, 2025 at Copley Health Center. She was born in Akron, OH on February 13th, 1957 to the late Paul Catalano and Beverly Catalano-Lassiter. Cindy graduated from North High School in 1975. She was the eldest, and shortest of her siblings, loved music (especially the The Carpenters), and all types of animals from lizards to horses. Cindy enjoyed crafting hobbies, including crocheting blankets, and decorating and painting T-shirts to give to family and friends as gifts. She was married to Anthony Jackson for nearly 39 years. Cindy was a homemaker and especially enjoyed mall walks with her love every weekend.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul W. Catalano and Beverly S. Catalano-Lassiter. She is survived by her husband, Anothony Jackson; her siblings, Christine (Tom) Pinkowsky, Paul Catalano II, Perry (Terri) Catalano, and Patty Simonetti; along with many nephews and nieces. 

Cindy will be cremated per her wishes. There will not be any public ceremonies at this time. Inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
