Dale W. "Daley" Collins
Dale W. "Daley" Collins, 59, passed away November 7, 2008 as a result of an auto accident.
Born in Wadsworth, he grew up in Brunswick and graduated from Brunswick High School. He was employed at Martin Wheel and most recently worked for Rexel for the past 22 years. Dale served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years during Vietnam. He was a member of the Immacuate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He loved to golf, he played on the WONE bowling league, and enjoyed playing poker tournaments on the internet.
Preceded in death by his parents, Art and Isobel Collins; survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Vicki; brother, Russell Debby Collins; mother and father-in-law, Nick and Marie Herstic; two beautiful samoyeds, Alexis and Azul; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Fr. Thomas W. McCann officiating. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the wife, Vicki Collins.
