Daniel "Deer" Schuck

February 12, 1953 — October 15, 2022

Daniel "Deer" Schuck passed away at home on October 15, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.

Dan was born on February 12, 1953 in Akron, Ohio. He was a lifelong resident of North Hill and graduated from North High School.

Dan retired from the City of Akron Water Department after 30 years of service. After he retired from the water department, he worked part time as a Golf Ranger at Roses Run Country Club.

When Dan was younger, he coached little league baseball through Hot Stove for many years. He met the love of his life, Becky, while coaching her son. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and cook. He began collecting antique and vintage marbles in the early 90's and spent many hours identifying and classifying his collection. Most of all Dan loved spoiling his Grandchildren; T Toes, Doodle and Pickle.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Beatrice Schuck, sister, Kathleen Decker, and brother, John Schuck. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Becky; his two children Byron (Melissa) Stout and Lisa (Jim) White; his three grandchildren Tommy Stout, Devin Stout, and Faith White; brother, Robert (Becky) Schuck; sister-in-law Connie (Jerry) Smith; life long friend, Larry Ciavarella; and special little buddy, Ralf; nieces and nephews and many friends.

There is a visitation on Tuesday, October 25th from 4-7 PM at Billow Falls Chapel, 1907 23rd St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Make-A-Wish of Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana or Summit County Humane Society.

“Dan, I have to stay here for a while but I will find you one day. I love you.” Bec
