Darla J Fielding

Darla J. Fielding, 72, went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2015.

Mrs. Fielding was a school teacher for many years with Norton, Akron Public Schools and Shatto Academy and was an active member of Montrose Zion United Methodist Church. She also taught private piano lessons and enjoyed golfing, bowling and hiking.

Preceded in death by her husband, Walt; survived by her children, Rob, Roy and Kristin; five grandsons; sister, Laura Miller; sister-in-law, Karin Yothers; a niece and a nephew.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Arden Courts of Bath for the love and care shown to Darla.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. FRIDAY at Montrose Zion United Methodist Church, with Dr. Walter S. Chisholm officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. THURSDAY (TODAY) at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., and one hour prior to the service on FRIDAY at the church.
