David W. Cornell, 59, passed away peacefully Feb. 23 surrounded by family and friends after a brief struggle with cancer.
He is survived by children, Ryan and Vanessa and their mother, Frances; grandchildren, Matthew, Lilyana, and Elias; sisters and brothers, Teresa, Rebecca, Thomas, Elizabeth, Eugene, Gloria, and James; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., Akron 44304, with Rev. Fr. Jerry F. Hall and Fr. Andrew Lentz officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the church one hour before services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Building Fund.
