David Williamson Elliot, 29, passed away July 10, 2012 as a result of a motorcycle accident. David was born in Akron, Ohio on September 24, 1982. He graduated from Cardigan Mountain School in 1998 and Revere High School and was currently an Electrical Engineering Student at The University of Akron.
He was preceded in death by his father, David L. Elliot and grandmothers, Virginia Elliot and Hope Gates, and is survived by mother, Sally Gates Johnson and her husband Allan Johnson III; sister, Lauralee Pittman; brother-in-law, Brian Pittman; their children, Caius and Freya of San Diego; grandfather, David Williamson Gates of Naples, Fla.; aunt, Julianne Wohler; cousins, Luke and Andrew Lucieer, and Eric Elliot.
Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Burial Park, 3653 West Market St., Fairlawn, 44333. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
