David A. Wash

David A. Wash passed away peacefully from natural causes on February 11, 2014 at Summa Akron City Hospital. He was 75 years old.

David was born in Fremont, OH, graduated from Fremont Ross High School and then earned a B.S. in computer science at Ohio State University in 1970. He was a veteran serving 6 years in the Ohio National Guard. He lived most of life in the Akron - Barberton area working for Ohio Bell and Ameritech as an accomplished programmer using the computer language COBOL. He was a member of the Barberton Lutheran church.

During the last two years of his life, he enjoyed living at Rockynol

Independent Senior Living in Akron. Besides working on computers, David loved photography taking beautiful photos of flowers and landscapes.

David is survived by his brother, Carlyle (Chuck), sister-in-law Leslie Rosenfeld, both of Monterey CA and niece, Jennifer Anderson (Lafayette CA) and nephew Brad Wash (Grisham OR).
