Dawn M. Pickton, 98, died November 11, 2009.
Born in Akron, she was a life resident of the area. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School and Bible Class, and had belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from the Adams Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay D. Mohler of Port Charlotte, Fla. and grandchildren, Carrie L. Pierce and Christopher P. Checke.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown. There are no calling hours.
