Deborah A. Cotter

Deborah A. Cotter, 64, died May 13, 2020.

Debbie began her career in the insurance industry in 1977, working for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. She joined Seibert-Keck Agency, Inc. in 1987. She earned the insurance designations; CPCU in 1986 and her ARM in 1988. Throughout her career she continued to place a high priority on insurance education.   She was involved in a variety of insurance organizations for the purpose of higher education and served as a past officer of Executive Women’s Round Table.  Debbie was a voracious reader, enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting and knitting.  She loved spending time with her family, friends and coworkers.

Debbie is survived by her stepmother, Nancy Cotter; sister, Nancy (John Priggins); brother, Bill Cotter; niece, Wendy (Scott Shelby); nephew, Cameron Cotter; and niece, Samantha Cotter.

Her family sincerely appreciates all the support which Insurance Partners/Seibert-Keck extended to her throughout her time there and their kindness and comfort during her final weeks with us. Her family also wants to thank Father Gabriel Lavery of Sacred Heart of Jesus for his visits and blessings and being with her at her final moments.  She drew great strength and comfort from his words and guidance.

There will be a private family celebration of Debbie’s life at a later time. Memorial donations may be made to Summa Hospice, One of a Kind Pets or the charity of your choice.
