Delores Smith Parker Dee
Dee Smith Parker, 80, passed away July 27, 2009 following a long illness.
Dee was born February 15, 1929 to Mac and Corinne Matheny.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Parker, and W. Gene Smith, father of her children. She is survived by daughters, Pam Gary Corbett of Green and Susan Gary Ellis of Tallmadge; sons, Thomas Lynn Smith of Phoenix, Gregory Kim of Tallmadge and Tim Cindy of Green; 10 grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; her sister, Harriette Atsaroff; niece, Marsha Arnold and family; sisters-in-law, Nettie and Cathy; and forever friends, Marguerite and Jan.
Dee had a very witty and fun-loving spirit. Her one-liners were a gift to us all. She enjoyed traveling, golf and most of all shopping. But the true loves of her life were her faith, family and friends. We"ll miss you. Thanks for the memories; you are an angel, Mom!

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 30th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 31st at the funeral home with Chaplin David Beesing officiating.
