Dennis Lee Davis
March 31, 1946 - March 22, 2016
Dennis Lee Davis, affectionately known as "Dink" to family and friends, passed away suddenly just short of his seventieth birthday.
He was born in Akron and lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. As a young man he served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Dennis worked as a machinist for 35 years, later retiring from Noble-Davis Consulting in 2012. An extremely hard worker, Dennis was devoted to his wife and family. Dennis was an accomplished guitarist, self taught, that played in many local bands throughout his life.
Preceded in death by his parents, Adelbert and Ruth Davis; he is survived by Virginia, his wife of 48 years; son, Dennis Davis, Jr. (Jan); daughter, Angela Moneypenny (Matthew); and six grandchildren, Emily, Amelia, Dex, Evelyn, Ty and Andrew. He is also survived by his brothers, Gene of Antioch, California, Gary of Fleming Island, Florida, Don of Omaha, Arkansas, and Carl of Cuyahoga Falls.
